Complete the following exercises from DDCA:
  1. DDCA 2.2
  2. DDCA 2.37 (provide a Logisim implementation and simulation)
  3. Logisim Image Flipper (see below)
  4. DDCA 5.8 (provide a Logisim implementation and simulation)
  5. DDCA 5.12 (only provide a Logisim implementation and simulation, no HDL)
  6. DDCA 5.25 (only provide a Logisim implementation and simulation, no HDL)
For Question 3, do the following:

For this homework problem you are going to design a Logisim digital circuit that can load two 8 bit by 8 bit images from a ROM into a register file such that the image will be displayed in an 8x8 LED Matrix. Your circuit should be able to load two images in sequence. The circuit should repeated load each image indefinitely. Here are the components you need to build:
  • An 8 bit Ripple Carry Adder
  • An 3to8 decoder
  • An 8 bit register file with 8 registers, one write register and 8 register outputs (you must build this yourself from SR Latches).
  • You will provide the wiring and any gates or muxes needed to connect all the components
You can use the following components:
  • The LED Matrix
  • The ROM Memory unit
You can design your own images to load into the ROM.
